Multi-Media Water Filtration 24″ x 69″ (48 GPM)

A multimedia water filtration contains three layers of media comprising of anthracite coal, sand and garnet & Activated Carbon with a supporting (non-separating) layer of rock at the base. These are the media of decision due to the distinctions in size and thickness. The bigger (however lighter) anthracite coal will be on top and the heavier (yet more modest) garnet will stay on the base. The channel media course of action permits the biggest soil particles to be eliminated close to the highest point of the media bed with the more modest soil particles being held further a lot in the media. This permits the whole bed to go about as a channel permitting any longer channel run times among discharge and more effective particulate evacuation.

Aqua Pro multimedia water filtration eliminates turbidity from the approaching feed water, in the end, the channel will show a high (pressure drop across the bed or potentially expanded turbidity levels coming from the Multi-Media Filter. Thus, the multimedia water filtration will ultimately require a discharge to clean the bed.

Activated Carbon
Activated carbon is a porous material which attracts and traps organic chemicals inside its structure.
Activated carbon is created by the burning of a suitable substance without oxygen which makes a carbon “char”. The burnt material or Char is then treated chemically to develop a series of pores inside the carbons structure. Chemically developing carbon or char substantially increases the chars surface area making it a great filter media for removing impurities in water
